Gardening Resolutions 2017

Alright. I’m not really a fan of New Year’s resolutions, but there are a few gardening/cooking experiments I would love to try in 2017 that I don’t want to forget. So here it goes in no particular order:

  1. Figure out how to grow herbs indoors without killing them
  2. Make more dandelion flower wine, a lot more
  3. Make rose hip wine
  4. Grow parsley root and horseradish root
  5. Make acorn flour
  6. Make sorghum syrup
  7. Transplant the giant rhubarb away from the raised beds
  8. Transplant the giant sage plant away from the raised beds
  9. Forage for morel mushrooms
  10. Make duck jerky
  11. Build an Idaho-adapted compost heap
  12. Make elderflower jelly
  13. Experiment with cheese making
  14. Eat the weeds!

Tell us about your gardening/cooking resolutions in the comments! If you have tips on any of the above, we welcome your advice 🙂
